Stay Alive with Love!

One might say that staying constantly loving is the meaning and substance of staying constantly alive. Love is vital to life. Over and over again human history documents this fact. One hears of delinquency corrected by love, of love prescribed by family doctors, of love used by prison wardens to reach incorrigible inmates and by nurses in hospitals to help children medicine could not cure.

Who doesn't need love? Everywhere on earth big and little children are crying out because of needs that can be met only through understanding born of Love itself—the Love that is God. Kindness and caring are not only pleasant amenities; they are vital to human survival. Earth's economy and ecology cannot thrive without them. To love is to care. To care is to care for. Carelessness is lovelessness, which pollutes the human atmosphere with all that is noxious, toxic, and lethal.

Pollution, famine, oppression, repression, and depression are social emergencies today. They signal an immediate necessity for the human race to emerge from callous indifference. They are warnings of the worldwide need to emerge from policies dictated by self-interest and self-love. Although self-love seems to permeate society, it is not natural to man. It should always be handled as a claim of truth's reversal. It is the opposite of man's real nature as God's reflection. Love-likeness is reflection. Self-love is absorption in materiality.
