An expression of gratitude from me in written form is long overdue. As a little girl, I was sent to the Christian Science Sunday School by my mother, who had recently become interested in this wonderful religion and decided that she wanted it for her children. For this I am truly grateful, for I am sure it changed the whole course of my life.

One of the first healings I can remember was the overcoming of a quick temper. As far as I know, no special Christian Science treatment was given for this difficulty. I can remember feeling very much disturbed and angry when conditions were not to my liking. And then one day I realized that this was not in accordance with what I was learning in Sunday School of God and of man's relation to Him. This difficulty was gradually overcome with the result that through the years associates have often remarked about the calmness with which I have been able to meet trying situations.

The knowledge that God is the only Mind and that I reflect His intelligence supported me through my school years, helping me to overcome fear of examinations.
