One morning when I awakened, the room seemed to be moving around. The wall was where the floor should be. I thought, "How silly!" and started to get up. The dizziness persisted, and all sense of balance was gone. This had never happened to me before, and I quickly lay back down, realizing I could not walk across the floor.
I then remembered that since I was a student of Christian Science this strange, false suggestion had to be denied. A line from a hymn in the Christian Science Hymnal came to me, as has happened so many times in an emergency. This time it was, "How firm a foundation" (No. 123). Since I needed something strong to hold to, I then thought of the words (Hymn No. 293),
