The Order of the Divine Architecture
Where but in the spiritual understanding of his sonship with God, which Christ Jesus taught and exemplified, can a person discover the ordering and harmonizing divine Principle that heals any sense of confusion—the cross-purposes, loose ends, and gaps— in his experience?
Anyone who has tried hard to bring his life under control without a clear sense of God's power working in him knows how difficult it is to make his present job fit into the course of his lifelong career, his marriage unfold into a comforting and strengthening force in the community, and even his travel plans result in a restorative or adventuresome experience. And we all feel acutely aware at times of the need for a greater capacity to improve the quality of our work, to bring greater love into our home, or to foster intelligence and right independence in our children.
What we most need is what Christian Science offers: the daily, hourly, constant guiding influence of God, Principle—the sole and all-powerful architect of our individual being.
