The inspired Word of the Holy Bible as it is explained in Christian Science has been a supporting and regenerating influence in my life for quite a long time. Among the blessings and healings that I have had was the overcoming of an internal growth. This condition was accompanied with some pain and extreme loss of weight. A complete healing came in a little over two years by a more earnest study of Christian Science and application of the truth of God and man. I learned to silence human will and listen for His voice.

I was very much encouraged when I read other testimonies of healings of a similar nature, and I wish to add mine in the hope that it will help another.

One day when the need was most urgent for me to know what I must do or know in order to be relieved of this discomfort, the answer came at once in these words from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 113): "The vital part, the heart and soul of Christian Science, is Love." So there was something I could do. I could love, and that would not be difficult. Then came another wonderful message from a Christian Science practitioner, who spoke of the ever-presence of divine Love. Uplifted and relieved, from this moment on I knew I could go confidently forward.
