In deep gratitude to God, and with the desire to praise Him for His great goodness, I write this testimony. While still a comparatively new student of Christian Science, I had an opportunity to prove that the Christ, Truth, does heal when it is relied upon completely.

My husband and I were pulling a heavily loaded thirty-foot house trailer on a major highway across a northern mountain state where towns are one hundred miles apart. About forty-five miles out of a town another car, pulling a large travel trailer, attempted to pass us, although as I glanced over my shoulder I saw that its trailer was swaying badly. At the point where the passing auto reached midpoint of our trailer it ran into us, throwing us out of control and turning both our car and trailer around and over. Our car came to rest on its top, and the trailer, right side up, literally burst apart.

After turning off the ignition, my husband got out of the car quickly, but I moved more slowly because my lower back was painful. After a minute I too crawled out and stood up, declaring that no bones were broken and that I was fine. Moving my legs to walk was difficult, and since I had to walk uphill to reach the road, I waited until a highway patrolman arrived. Then he and my husband helped me walk to the road.
