Manhood and the World's Problems

[For young adults]

People all over the world yearn to contribute to the betterment of society, to do something to reform and revitalize prevailing institutions. Above all, they yearn to be themselves. Isn't this really true for all of us?

To help the world, we must first know who we really are. Mrs. Eddy puts it this way: "Know thyself, and God will supply the wisdom and the occasion for a victory over evil."  Science and Health, p. 571;

How can we know ourselves? By knowing our source. Through Christian Science we discover that the eternal, creative Principle is God, the divine Mind. Due to the infinite nature of divine Mind, there is no reality outside its allness. This self-conscious divine Principle unfolds its own perfect creation through self-expression. And the expression is man and the universe in their spiritual perfection. Paul alluded to this when he wrote: "For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things."  Rom. 11:36;
