It All Belongs to God

The secret of Christ Jesus' unparalleled success in solving all human problems was his complete surrender of personal sense. He rejected the theory that man is an independent entity having a mind and will of his own. The Master saw that all intelligence and action belong to divine Mind, and that man derives his wisdom and ability from God through the law of reflection. He said of God, "Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever."Matt. 6:13;

Is this fathomless source of strength and intelligence available today? Indeed it is. God, the divine Principle of being, never varies, for He is eternal Life, the infinite consciousness that constitutes and sustains the spiritual individuality of all men.

Christian Science has come to reveal this fact in its fullness and to show how it can be applied practically in daily affairs. This Science unfolds the Biblical teaching that all good belongs to God, for He is the infinite Person, the very selfhood of good. God is the neverending source of love, power, and ability that each individual may express as he learns of his relationship, or unity, with this source. In this connection Mary Baker Eddy writes in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: "All substance, intelligence, wisdom, being, immortality, cause, and effect belong to God. These are His attributes, the eternal manifestations of the infinite divine Principle, Love. No wisdom is wise but His wisdom; no truth is true, no love is lovely, no life is Life but the divine; no good is, but the good God bestows."Science and Health, p. 275;
