Who Cares?
[For young adults]
The sun is always shining within our solar system, whether atmospheric conditions permit our viewing it or not. Who would dream of saying, "The sun is not giving light or heat anymore because I can't see it"?
People who are disillusioned by the frustrations of human experience sometimes abandon the search for enlightenment and protest, "Who cares?" But God is always caring, just as the sun is always shining. The trouble is that we sometimes want to conform God's caring into some preconceived human patterns of our own. We might as well try to tell the sun how and when to shine.
The fact is, God cares in the most complete and perfect way, but our own atmosphere of thought may include confusion, self-will, emotionalism, which prevent us from seeing the fact clearly.
