Our Ever-present Perfection
One often hears the query, What is man?
To the human sense of things, man appears to be a mortal. He seems to be separated from good, or God, but is always hoping that in the future he will achieve completeness or perfection. However, from the divine Science of being, or Christian Science, we learn that this is not a true picture of man.
Christian Science reveals that man, our real, spiritual being, is not mortal but wholly immortal here and now. Man is the idea of Spirit, Love, the image of his Maker, incorporeal, harmonious, flawless. He is constituted of divine ideas, unimpairable and indestructible. Through Christian Science we discover that these truths are our eternal heritage and that we can demonstrate them in daily living, regardless of false suggestions to the contrary.
