The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the CHRISTIAN SCIENCE QUARTERLY designated to be read in Christian Science churches on November 10, 1968.

So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth (Prov. 6:11)

In the Hebrew, this phrase may also be used "of one tramping, or formidable," while Gesenius, Ewald, and others contend that the term is employed in this verse to describe "a highwayman." Moffatt suggests, "Poverty will pounce on you."
