RADIO PROGRAM NO. 343 - The Prayer That Heals Broken Relationships

[The speaker is Jack Krieger, who is active in the healing ministry of Christian Science. Robert McKinnon is the questioner.]

Questioner: Many people often have severe challenges in getting along with other people. Whether it's a marriage partner, somebody at work, a mother-in-law, or a neighbor, the individual finds himself at odds with people from time to time. He may very genuinely try to do something about it, but without success.

Speaker: I know what you mean. It helps if we keep the lines of communication open and our perspective clear. But we need to go much deeper. What's really needed is more unselfed love on everyone's part, not just a form of discussing and trying to come to some human agreement on a situation but finding a relationship with divine Love, which is God. Selfishness, injustice, inharmony, can be overcome completely by unselfed love.
