The realization that I have enjoyed all of the many benefits of Christian Science for sixteen years and more has suddenly burst upon my thought. It is time that I sent a testimony to one of our publications in acknowledgment of the blessings that have come to our family through this great truth.
I have experienced many healings. Early in my study of this religion, when expecting our third child, I was suddenly stricken with what most probably would have been diagnosed as uremic poisoning. The physical picture was alarming, and suffering seemed about to overwhelm me. My feet, ankles, and face were badly swollen. A devoted Christian Science practitioner worked with me day and night for more than a week. Many times during this severe trial I experienced the great joy of seeing the workings of the one divine Mind.
One day my thought turned to words from one of Mrs. Eddy's hymns (Poems, p. 79),
