"The confidence inspired by Science"

Do we really trust God, Truth, as the unopposed power of the universe? When we do, this intelligent confidence, or trust, removes insecurity, fear, and discord from our lives. Mrs. Eddy writes, "The confidence inspired by Science lies in the fact that Truth is real and error is unreal." Science and Health, p. 368;

God, the source of all good, is everywhere present and equal to every need. The real, spiritual man of God's creating is not dependent on restricted abilities and talents. He is the reflection of the unlimited qualities and resources of Mind. When this unalterable fact is before the thought, we need never fear that sudden demands and emergencies will place us in a position where we shall be unable to act with freedom and dominion. In the words of the Bible: "Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken." Prov. 3:25, 26;

Christ Jesus left us an unparalleled example of confidence and security. He never doubted whether his approach to treatment of disease or discord was correct. Through recognizing the allness of divine Principle, or God, and understanding the nothingness of lawless mortal mind, or material consciousness, he was able to heal every type of inharmonious condition quickly.
