Some years ago my husband and I were living on an island where there were no other Christian Scientists and where there seemed to be a great sense of restriction. We were both sincere students of Christian Science, having known of it since about 1922. It had seemed right to come to this place for at least a time, so we felt the first step was to know there could be no restrictions in God's kingdom of harmony, where in reality we dwelt. Constantly we reminded each other, "No restrictions!" Much good unfolded.

During a visit to London we had a talk with a practitioner, and as we voiced the things we hoped to do when no longer living on an island, we were told not to put good in the future. We were advised to remember Abram, to whom God said (Gen.13:14), "Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art." We were to see all good around us where we were. This we did, and we rejoiced in the good unfolding.

After we had been home about a week, my husband received a letter which resulted in our having to leave the island and make our home right in the spot where we wanted to be. Here a lovely home awaited us, much larger than we had before, more convenient in every way, and near to a Church of Christ, Scientist, where we are happy to be active members.
