"As a small group of Christian Scientists, we had been meeting for some months and were busily occupied taking the steps necessary to become a branch of The Mother Church. All the members were of one mind in listening for ideas which could be implemented to promote the Cause of Christian Science in our area.
"Since we had our services in a rented building, it was not possible to advertise our location with an identifying sign on the building; yet we felt we must let the public know that this healing truth was available in its midst.
