The Normal class of the Board of Education was held early in December. In compliance with the By-Law, Article XXX, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, this class convenes on the first Wednesday of December in each third year.
The teacher of the 1964 class was Ralph E. Wagers, C. S. B., of Boston. Mr. Wagers, a native of Michigan, has served the movement in many capacities, including that of practitioner, teacher, lecturer, President of The Mother Church, and, since 1959, Associate Editor of the religious periodicals.
The class was composed of pupils from Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, Scotland, France, and Germany, and from the following states: California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Wisconsin, and from the District of Columbia.
