More than thirty years ago Christian Science was brought to my attention by dear friends. At that time I was in great spiritual need and accepted Science at once. Step by step I was led out of material bonds, and I experienced God's love and care insofar as I endeavored to recognize the divine will in everything.

Throughout these years God has been my only physician. I experienced the healing of a painful attack of angina when I had been in Christian Science only a few years. I asked a practitioner to help me, and she explained that in Science we must rise above every material appearance through prayer. I was ready to place my entire trust in God as my healer, and I was without fear. Thus my healing came.

I was able to overcome grippe through firmly denying that there was any truth in the reports of sickness disseminated through the press and radio and through realizing that there is no life in matter and that the real man, God's spiritual idea, is untouched by the belief that there is.
