"Plenty of employment"
[Of Special Interest to Young Men and Women]
Many individuals at various times in their experience find it difficult to believe that employment is always available. One who has just finished his schooling and is ready to embark upon a career may hear on all sides that his youth and inexperience are hindrances to his securing a place. Another who perhaps has many years of valuable experience to his credit may hear that his advanced years are an impediment to progress.
According to Christian Science, true employment is a present fact to be demonstrated. We must not give our consent to suggestions that tell us otherwise. Mortal suggestions are not of God, and consequently they are not true of the man of God's creating. Man, made in the image and likeness of God, is the spiritual manifestation of God. God manifests His own perfect works and employs man to display them.
When one understands that there is in reality not a single mortal error in his true being, he finds that it is impossible to interrupt or stop the Father's plan for him; instead, he expresses it.
