"Love, the Motive Power of Church"
By means of tape recordings and translated manuscripts, the Tuesday Evening Meeting entitled "Love, the Motive Power of Church," held in The Mother Church on June 4, 1963, is being presented throughout the world for members of The Mother Church and its branches.
That the spiritual import of this meeting continues to unfold is evident in letters being received from many lands. Widespread is the appreciation of the thoughtful and healing message, "Universal Love is the divine way in Christian Science" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 266).
One member in California comments: "Hearing the meeting was to me a deeply stirring and inspiring experience. It awakened in me a truer and keener understanding that God, infinite Love, is 'the motive power of Church.' I came home with a more fervent desire than I had ever had before to reflect Love to all, and this desire has remained with me. I sincerely wish to thank you for making it possible for all Christian Scientists to have this inspiration."
