Several years ago I had a testimony...
Several years ago I had a testimony accepted and printed in the Sentinel. But in view of the continuing flow of blessings I receive as I go on in my study of Christian Science, I should like now to tell of further healings.
At one time I was suffering from blood poisoning. For some time I was able to carry on with my work as a schoolteacher. Then a day came when this did not seem possible any longer. So I went to stay with a friend, also a student of Christian Science, who, although she led a very busy office life, very kindly took care of me for three weeks. Her loving care was a great comfort throughout the experience.
My teacher in Christian Science continued to give me prayerful treatment. During this time I studied the book of Revelation and felt very much inspired by some of the deep truths I began to glimpse from my study of it. The healing came steadily, and I was able to return to my work full of joy and gratitude. I have always been grateful for this experience, because I learned many needed lessons from it.
