My first healing in Christian Science...

My first healing in Christian Science was many years ago. I was suffering from acute indigestion and lung trouble. I could eat no solid foods of any kind without severe pain and was put on a rigid diet by my doctor.

I became bedfast and along with the stomach trouble had a cough. It was at this point I met a Christian Science practitioner who told me I could be healed in Science. I assumed it was spiritualism and told her I did not believe it could help me. She assured me that Christian Science was just what the name implied: Science, available to mankind throughout all generations, demonstrating the healing power used lay Jesus and elucidated by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health.

Three weeks later the practitioner invited me to her home, where I spent three months studying and having treatment from her until I received my healing of both conditions.
