Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise (Gal. 3:29)

It may be retailed that it was announced to Abram (later called Abraham) that in him "all families of the earth" were to be blessed (Gen. 12:3), and in due course an heir was promised to him. His "seed" was to be numberless as the stars (15:5) and was to have part in "an everlasting covenant" (17:7).
