I should like to express heartfelt...
I should like to express heartfelt gratitude for a healing of quinsy through Christian Science; it has proved a milestone in my journey from sense to Soul.
When a severe throat condition did not yield to my own application of the truths of Christian Science several years ago, I called upon the aid of a practitioner in another city. Although speaking and eating were very difficult for a few days, I was free from pain throughout the entire experience. One afternoon I was aware that mental surgery was taking place. There was a sound of something loosening within the throat. From that moment on, the condition began to abate, and within a very short time I was completely well.
This healing will always be associated in my thought with Mrs. Eddy's statement in Science and Health (p. 375), "The genuine Christian Scientist is adding to his patient's mental and moral power, and is increasing his patient's spirituality while restoring him physically through divine Love."
