It is with a sense of deep and...
It is with a sense of deep and humble gratitude that I submit this testimony. Over twenty-five years ago, I started the study of Christian Science, and I can truthfully say that whenever rightfully applied, it has never failed me. In these years Science has helped me to solve domestic, physical, financial, and other kinds of problems. It has been a constant help in rearing our two sons, who are young men now. They have never had to have medical aid and are completely relying on God for their guidance and protection and are looking to Him for the answers to any problems which may arise.
When they were little, we had many occasions to prove the efficacy of Science. At one time, one of the boys was very ill during the night. I worked for him through prayer in Christian Science, establishing his true sonship and knowing that as a child of God, His image and likeness, he was perfect, well, and free. However, the high fever continued, and having done all I knew, I asked God what else needed to be done.
The answer came to me very clearly in the form of a quotation from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. She says on page 412 of this wonderful textbook: "Realize the presence of health and the fact of harmonious being, until the body corresponds with the normal conditions of health and harmony. If the case is that of a young child or an infant, it needs to be met mainly through the parent's thought, silently or audibly on the aforesaid basis of Christian Science."
