I desire to express my gratitude for the truth God has revealed to me through Christian Science and for the numerous healings which I have had. After I had had an operation in connection with a floating kidney condition and kidney stones, the same trouble returned. I was told I needed a second operation, but I decided against it. I had a friend who was a Christian Scientist; so I asked her if she thought Christian Science would help me. She told me to see a practitioner and said she was sure that I would get help.

I consulted a practitioner, who treated me through prayer for three months. One day I told her I did not understand how Science could hold the kidney in place because of the law of gravity. She explained that God holds everything in His perfect, spiritual kingdom in its right place through His spiritual laws, and an understanding of this fact would have its effect physically. She continued working, and I was healed. This was many years ago, and I have had no return of the trouble.

In my study of Christian Science which followed, I had a mental housecleaning of false beliefs, which I learned were not laws and had no power over me.
