Because of continued ill health my husband and I left England for the Maritime Provinces of Canada over thirty years ago. Very soon afterwards I was introduced to Christian Science by a loving aunt, and since then we have relied wholly on it in solving all our problems in the home.

I am very grateful for a healing I had a few years ago. The right side of my face became very much swollen, and there was severe pain. I asked my teacher in Christian Science to give me treatment. I knew that the power which was behind me is divine Truth and that it is omnipotent.

I also held to the last part of this sentence from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 228): "The transmission of disease or of certain idiosyncrasies of mortal mind would be impossible if this great fact of being were learned, —namely, that nothing inharmonious can enter being, for Life is God." The loving atmosphere in the home and the love radiated by church members during this time also supported me and helped to bring about the complete healing.
