During the past year the Bible Society shared the riches of the Gospel with the people of troubled Congo, not only in Leopoldville, but also in Katanga, the Kasai, Lower Congo, Kivu Rwanda and Burundi.

African life is changing rapidly and wherever the Word of God is accepted in new communities, there the structure of non-Christian social life changes. Much terror has disappeared and made way for gratitude. Through the preaching of the Gospel a new understanding of the word "neighbor" has enriched the relationships between antagonistic groups. The realization of what fellowship means needs to be discovered. ...
