Christian Science has brought...
Christian Science has brought so many blessings and healings into my experience that this testimony can only touch upon a few of them.
About two years ago, while I was trimming some palm trees, a branch fell, thrusting one of the heavy spines through the palm of my right hand. I quickly pulled it out, declaring the truth that man in the image and likeness of God is spiritual and hence cannot be injured in any way.
I continued to cling to this fact and also to a favorite passage from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." The next day I was able to participate in some tennis matches, and shortly thereafter all trace of the incident disappeared.
