I should like to testify to the...
I should like to testify to the simplicity and practicality of Christian Science. This religion came into my parents' home when my sister, then an infant, was apparently passing on as a result of pneumonia and had been given up by the physicians. She was healed through the prayerful treatment of a Christian Science practitioner. My parents then took up the earnest study of Mrs. Eddy's works, and thus Science was well established in the home when I was born.
I shall always be grateful for the Christian Science Sunday School which I attended from the earliest admittable age. It was during this period that I experienced a healing which has remained outstanding in my thought.
When my milk teeth came out and the permanent ones took their place, the latter were so crooked that they stood sideways in my mouth with great gaps between each one.
