Let Us Keep Our Consciousness Clear
"There is no barrier or impediment to the
realization of spiritual existence"
When I first became interested in Christian Science I wondered why many theologians and learned men, highly advanced in academic fields, were apparently unable to accept or demonstrate this religion; whereas ordinary people from all walks of life were daily proving its healing and regenerating power not only in their own lives but in behalf of others who called upon them for help. I found my answer in the following statement on page 59 of "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy: "That individual is the best healer who asserts himself the least, and thus becomes a transparency for the divine Mind, who is the only physician."
