For many years I have wanted to...
For many years I have wanted to share this healing with others. It took place just before I was to enter the first grade in school, and although I do not really remember much of the experience because I was so young at the time, I realize that I owe a great deal to Christian Science.
My family had only recently become familiar with this religion, and when I was taken ill great fear overcame my parents; so a doctor was called. He pronounced the illness to be infantile paralysis.
I had not yet attended a Christian Science Sunday School, but I had been listening to Mother explaining some of the truths that she had been reading, and I believed them. I urged her to get one of our Christian Science friends to come to see me, because I knew that he could help me. I begged not to have to take any medicine, and no medical treatment was given. A practitioner who was called prayed for me, and a complete healing came.
