The Bible tells us, "Freely ye...
The Bible tells us, "Freely ye have received, freely give" (Matt. 10:8). Over many years I have received a vast amount of help from reading the testimonies in our authorized periodicals, from the Christian Science programs on the radio and television, and from testimonies given at Wednesday evening meetings in Churches of Christ, Scientist, in many parts of the United States. I have verbally expressed my gratitude for healings many times. Now I see that this expression was incomplete because it had not before been shared with others in written form.
Through the study of Christian Science I was freed from the smoking habit. Fear has been overcome to a great extent. For years, from the time I was a youngster, I was afraid to be alone anywhere. It was not until I became interested in Science after I was married that this fear was dispelled by an understanding that man was not, is not, and never will be, alone, because he is forever at one with his Father-Mother God.
