WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST

[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on January 7, 1962.]

Mount Zion, on the sides of the north (Ps. 48:2)

Just what is implied by the Hebrew phrase literally translated "the sides of the north" is somewhat uncertain. Brings gives "on the northern ridge." adding that the temple was situated on the northeastern corner or back of Mount Zion Smith has "in the far north": and Moffatt "on the northern slope."

Bulwarks (Ps. 18:13)
