I am very grateful for our periodicals...
I am very grateful for our periodicals, for it was through the reading of some of them more than thirty years ago that I experienced my first healing in Christian Science.
For several months I had been under the care of different physicians, some of whom were specialists, for inflammation of the gall bladder, which, I was told, had involved the entire intestinal tract.
Upon returning home one day after receiving a final verdict from a specialist that he could do no more for me, I was met by the manager of the apartment building where I was living, and seeing my utter dejection, she asked if I would care to read some Christian Science literature which had been left with her.
