This Golden Moment of Now
"Each moment is new, fresh with the unspent glory of God's presence and power"
Time seems to be a relentless master from which there is no escape. It ties one mercilessly to yesterday or urges one impatiently toward tomorrow. As a result we often do not really enjoy today. Yet there is escape from this bondage because time is a mortal measurement—illusory, not permanent. Christian Science makes it clear that the cessation of time takes place in the individual human consciousness as one gives up this false mortal concept, time, and accepts the scientific fact of eternality.
