I should like to express my gratitude...

I should like to express my gratitude for the television film "Ye Shall Know the Truth," produced by the office of the Manager of Committees on Publication. A nearby Christian Science Society was showing this film, and I was to be on duty as an usher. Since I was feeling ill and had been worried about a property investment and a project my husband was about to undertake, I had had it in my thought not to attend. I had been ruminating over the whole business, but I made the effort and went.

During the showing of this picture, I was enabled to see that God's work is going on all the time, no matter what we think is right or wrong, and that it was not my business to stand in the way of my husband's developing his talents. He had a perfect right to be about God's business in his own fashion as best he knew how, and I could help and encourage him by seeing him as actually God's own son, always about his Fathers business.

So clear was my understanding of this that when the motion picture was over, I was completely healed of the illness, and all fear that my husband's project was a wrong investment was overcome. Along with it, a sense of resentment of what I had thought was unjust treatment was healed. This has resulted in a happy and more cooperative attitude in our family relationship.
