I have had many healings through the help of Christian Science. My first physical healing, which occurred in 1913, was that of an eye trouble. At that time my work necessitated continuous traveling; I would be in a small town one night and in the larger cities as long as two weeks. Upon arriving in a city I would inquire for and have treatment from the best eye specialist so that I would be able to perform my duties. After many treatments I was no better, and I was more discouraged than ever.

My sister, who had had several operations before she was healed through Christian Science, asked whether I would read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy if she sent it to me. I was ready to try anything that I thought would help me. When the book came to me, I could not even see the separation of the lines, but my wife read to me.

I tried to read every day. In a short time I could see the words. I kept trying to read, and in a period of eight weeks I was able to read several pages without rest. The complete healing followed. Since then I have been healed of sore throats, pains in the back, stomach trouble, rheumatic pains, and other physical ailments. I have had wonderful help in financial ways.
