Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services received the following letter from an officer in the United States Navy stationed in Pennsylvania:
It is with a heart full of love and gratitude that I give this testimony of my first healing in Christian Science.
"I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage".
My sincere gratitude to God for Christian Science compels me to write about a healing I received over twenty-five years ago.
I wish to put on record my gratitude for Christian Science, which has helped me for many years and with many problems.
To unload ourselves of the heavy limitations of mortal mind is a joyous and strengthening experience.
For what Christian Science has meant to so many throughout the world and for what it has meant in my own experience, I feel deeply grateful to God.

Christian Science has not only met my spiritual need as a religion, but it has never failed to meet all the human needs of a large family when we faithfully and wholeheartedly adhered to its teaching.

one of the great men of science, did not prepare for his career until he had spent 2 years studying medicine at the University of Edinburgh and 3 years studying for the ministry at Cambridge.
