Horsham, Sussex, England (Society).

Members of Christian Science Society, Horsham, will be welcoming the public to the dedication services at their new church on June 27.

Dedication ... has been made possible by the generous donations of members and friends and from two funds—the Selina C. Cornish Fund ... and the Trustees under the Will of Mary Baker Eddy....

A few Christian Scientists met together in Horsham in 1917 and held services in private houses in Horsham until 1929, when, because of increased interest, it was necessary to engage a hall.

In 1930 the group were recognized as Christian Science Society, Horsham, a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.

The Men's Institute, East-street, was hired for their services, and later moves were made to the New Hall, Linden-road; the Cooperative Hall, Denne-road; and the Women's Institute Market Hall, Carfax. The final move was made to the new church and Sunday School ... last ear.

This brick and tiled building is of typical Sussex architecture, and blends well with the surrounding buildings. ... The Sunday School, which adjoins the church, will accommodate fifty pupils.
