It is with heartfelt gratitude that I take this opportunity to express my appreciation and thanks to God for numerous blessings received through Christian Science.

This Science found me, almost ten years ago, in a state of great mental distress, I could find no rest or satisfaction in life. I lived selfishly for myself alone, and all my time, thoughts, and energy was spent on acquiring more worldly goods. I accepted Christian Science only as a medium through which to ask God to give me wealth, fame, and more case. Meanwhile I was suffering from periodic backaches which at times became very intense.

Shortly after I read Science and Health by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, my outlook on life changed, and I began to realize how wrong I was in trusting matter as the source of happiness. With the increased understanding of God as the source of all good came the needed inspiration which gradually dispelled selfishness, fear, discouragement, lack, and limitation, which formerly dominated my thoughts. Also, through the application of Science the pains in my back disappeared permanently. The business, housing, and other problems were solved satisfactorily
