I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I was very sick and had used every remedy I could think of, to no avail. A woman asked me why I did not try Christian Science. She said, "You don't need to take medicine." I said, "I have to; the doctors have examined me and told me I have a disease that is incurable." She told me about the Wednesday evening testimony meetings. That night I went to church and after church asked to be shown a Christian Science practitioner. I talked with one and the next day went to the Reading Room and got what was needed for study.

The practitioner told me to read the chapter on Prayer in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I read until late that night. I could hardly wait until I had my breakfast the next morning to go over to this woman's house, for she was going to show me how to study the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly. I told her I was feeling fine, as though I were walking on air. The trouble which the doctors had told me was incurable was all gone, and I have never had any return of it. This was many years ago. A few years ago I was completely healed of a broken hip.

Christian Science is indeed the "pearl of great price." We have to walk in the straight and narrow way and hold to the truth, but Christian Science always works.— (Mrs.) Sarah Trevett, Kansas City, Missouri.
