I have had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science in my family, It has been my only physician for over twenty-five years.

A healing which has been outstanding to me was one our son experienced when he was nine years old. He had a temperature, and I called a practitioner for help in Christian Science. She worked for several days. A member of the family who is not a Christian Scientist became alarmed and called in a physician. After examining the boy, he said that he had pleural pneumonia, but that he was in the convalescent stage at that time. The doctor was so amazed that he asked if we would have X rays taken, and we consented. When the report came back, he confirmed his diagnosis of pleural pneumonia, but said a miracle had been performed. The boy was back in school in a few days and never missed a single day from then until he graduated from college.

Other healings which I have witnessed in my own home were those of scarlet fever, measles, chicken pox, a bowel condition, severe burns, and a large mole on my face. This last demonstration was made by a single denial of error's reality and a statement of the allness of Truth.
