With a heart full of gratitude I want to express my thanks for Christian Science and for all it has done for me and mine. I have had many proofs of the healing power of this Science and would like to tell of one healing which was a steppingstone in my understanding of this Science.

About three months before our second child was born and whilst we were on holiday, my wife was suddenly taken ill, and as she did not improve, I packed our clothes, and we returned home.

When my wife's parents saw her, they were much alarmed and called a doctor. The doctor could not say what was wrong with her and advised that we have a specialist. Then I decided to see a Christian Science practitioner. After a long talk with the practitioner, I told the specialist that I was going to rely entirely on God and Christian Science. He told me that my wife should have an immediate operation, as he did not think that she would be able to deliver the child. He feared she would collapse under the strain.
