I wish to give grateful acknowledgment of the blessings I have received through Christian Science.

My family was attracted to the truth and healing power of Christian Science over twenty-two years ago through the healing of my brother of epilepsy, for which many material aids and remedies had been tried, but without avail. After this healing, which has been permanent, we children were enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School. Much good has derived from this firm foundation.

After leaving school I turned to worldly pleasures for a time; but I shall always be grateful for the quickened interest in the truth, due to my mother's steadfastness in Christian Science, which made me see the unreality of pleasure in the social drinking and tobacco habits and of the false sense of living connected therewith.
