Rheumatic fever and asthma yield to power of Truth

Over thirty years ago I was afflicted with a bad cough. I had gone to numerous physicians and had tried every known remedy to no avail. At this time I was introduced to Christian Science through a friend, and under a practitioner's care was healed within a week.

When my first baby was born, I was advised by my physician never to have any more children; but my second child was born without any difficulty through the help of a Christian Science practitioner.

When my oldest girl was nine years old, she was healed of rheumatic fever within three weeks. A healing of my own was that of a fractured leg, which became black from the knee to the ankle. Under Christian Science treatment it improved, and a few days later when I saw something I needed across the room, the thought came to me, Nothing can hinder you from getting it; and I got up and walked without discomfort. Within a few days I was completely healed.
