Healings experienced while reading textbook
I want to testify to the beauty of Christian Science, its perfection and efficacy in every experience.
I became really interested when I began reading the first chapter, "Prayer," in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Joyfully I exclaimed, "I have looked for this all my life!" The grandeur and wonder of it seemed to fill my whole being. I had no thought of bodily healing, but severe headaches, quinsy, and utter weariness simply faded from my experience. A boil that had started on my wrist burst without my experiencing pain, and I have not had another.
A friend, at whose home I first began reading the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, took care of me when my eighth child was born. The birth took place without my having a single pain.
