Brain abscess healed; absent treatment effective

The fact that Christian Science heals has been witnessed by many people. I wish to add my testimony to corroborate that fact.

I was introduced to Science after doctors had stated that their operation on a brain abscess would not be a success and that there was nothing more they could do. A practitioner was asked by my mother for help in Christian Science and, much to the amazement of the doctors, I was released from the hospital in one week. When my mother and I realized God's love for man, we proved that Christian Science heals. This was a number of years ago.

Another occasion when Christian Science abrogated material beliefs was when I had broken an elbow after a fall on concrete. Treatment was requested of a practitioner, but I was taken to a doctor for examination. This doctor made the prediction that the arm would be stiff and insisted that the elbow be shown to a specialist in a distant city. Upon analyzing the X rays and the results of an examination, the specialist stated that a miracle had taken place; that the greater percentage of these cases resulted in stillness, but that my arm was going to have normal action. That I have normal action of the arm can be substantiated by the fact that I served for more than three years with the United States Army.
