Words alone cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science and for our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whose spiritual perception and unselfed love were great enough to give this marvelous truth to a needy world.

During the thirty-six years in which I have been a student of Christian Science I have had so many wonderful demonstrations that it would be impossible to tell of them all. My first healing was that of tonsillitis, from which I had suffered since I was a small child. This disease grew worse and the attacks more frequent as I grew older, until during my high school years the attacks sometimes lasted as long as ten days, leaving me weak and unable to work well, either mentally or physically. After a few treatments from a Christian Science practitioner, I was healed and never had another attack. I had greatly feared frequent common colds, but through my own understanding of Christian Science I had several instantaneous healings, and now for several years I have had no trouble whatever from that source.

The overcoming of a painful form of stomach trouble was one of my first happy experiences with the healing power of Christian Science. It would be hard to describe my gratitude when I realized that I had been permanently healed. I have also had instantaneous healings of sprains, cramps, burns, and a severe pain in my back which seemed unbearable.
