Christian Science heals

Christian Science heals. Through it the Word of God is made practical in our human experience here and now. All may avail themselves of this healing Love. What is needed is that one become receptive to Christian Science and its promises, thereby letting in the light of Truth and dispelling the darkness of error.

An understanding of the explanations in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy of man's oneness with God brought about the healing of a severe case of blood poisoning which had affected my right hand and arm up to the elbow. The first night of the experience I was delirious, but I remember holding to the fact of the oneness of God and realizing that His idea cannot be separated from Principle. On awaking the following morning, I found the pain gone, although the swelling and discoloration were still there. I went to business, never losing time or giving up any activity, although it took about two weeks for the physical evidence to disappear entirely.

When my desire for Christian Science became greater than my desire for smoking and drinking, my healing of these habits came about.
